600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 8.900 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 15 years to get that many views.

The External World by David O’Reilly

The External World és un mosaic d’un món surreal, i al tractar-se de múltiples històries dóna la sensació de realisme dins la bogeria. Menció honrífica a Sundance 2011 i moltíssims altres festivals per a aquesta animació d’influència asiàtica.

David O’Reilly havia fet amb un estil similar el curt ‘Please, say something’, amplament difós per internet i que ja havíem pogut vore a principis d’any a Fessols&Naps junt als millors short films of 2010 de shortoftheweek.

Si hi ha algun tag que fa honor a aquest film és Uncategorized, a la fi em serveix no haver-lo borrat mai.

‘Mourir Auprès de Toi’, un curt i making of d’Spike Jonze i Simon Cahn

Molt bon curt d’animació en stop motion i making of. Heu de clickar en les fotos per a poder veure’l.

Ja havíem parlat d’Spike Jonze en el gènere stop motion amb el videoclip dels Beastie Boys ‘Don’t play no game that i can’t win’.

Per a qui no l’haja vist afegim el curt (31 min.) “I’m here”, d’Spike Jonze al 2010. Una trista història d’amor sci-fi. I també “Scenes From The Suburbs”, un curt de 30 min. ideat per Jonze inspirat en el  grup Arcade Fire. No confondre amb el videoclip amb ells mateixos anomenat The Suburbs, precíssament.

Yum Yum, dels quals ja hem parlat anteriorment a F&N pels seus toys, han creat aquesta app de realitat augmentada i un videojoc per a la marca de cereals Weetabix.
